This series consists of volumes containing instructions issued to officers by the superindendent of the Girls' Training Home, Parramatta.

The volumes consist of printed general orders, instructions or regulations issued by the superintedent. Each order is signed by officers working at the home.   

Also included are the copies of the Matron's regulation books. These contain the same format and information as the general order books but do not contain the signatures of the officers.

In addition there is a volume titled alterations or amendments to set rules. These amendments are signed and dated by the superintendent.
