These registers give: name of child; where born; date of birth; religion; name and known addresses of parents; number of papers; particulars of foster parents or guardians' names, addresses, dates when received and how placed; and BOR number. They also note how the child was eventually disposed of (eg. by return to a parent or relative, by adoption, by attaining maturity).
