This video tape, produced in approximately 1983, was recorded from a film made available by Mr Jack Thoms, a former Director of State Lotteries, to show the way lotteries were processed before the electronic age. The film shows Mr Thoms, who was Director from 28 July 1966 to 17 April 1975, making the draw in the presence of guest Mrs Paula Halford of Mosman, and the means by which the results were prepared for publication. The greater part of the film is a Channel 9 television news item.
