This series contains summarised decisions on opinions sought from the Crown Solicitor and Law Texts regarding the interpretation of Death Duties. (It appears to contain opinions dating from the 1930's up to the 1950's.)

The cards are arranged in order of the Sections within the Stamp Duties Act, 1920, which relate to Death Duties, and make reference to the relevant Deceased Estate files.

There are two sets of cards, one manuscript and one typescript, the manuscript set often containing annotations.
