These records include Soil Conservation copies of correspondence between the Departments of Conservation and Local Government and the three sections of the Department of Conservation. The correspondence concerns the Town and Country Planning Scheme as affected by the "Town and Country Planning (General Interim Development) Ordinance" of 1945.

There is also a copy of the Ordinance and a copy of the Department of Local Government Bulletin No.17, explaining the Ordinance.
