This series consists of reports to the Board and correspondence regarding the conduct of the school certificate examinations, the McGowen parliamentary select committee upon the school certificate, and the refusal of Berkeley High School to accept examination results. Also included are copies of non-serious examination attempts and a legal advising on the power of the Board to determine the content of school syllabuses.
