These files relate to: identification of overseas exhibitions; the release of the Customs House (Circular Quay, Sydney) to the New South Wales Government; the First Government House reconstruction; and include an Aboriginal discussion paper on Bicentennial objectives. 

These records are registered files which had been extracted from the main series of Premier's Department Correspondence and arranged according to subject area. There are also a few files which have New South Wales Bicentennial Council registered file numbers. These files were transferred to the Bicentennial Secretariat for finalisation of financial business and other matters.
