Full description
These were sent by the Inspector General, later the Commissioner, and by District Superintendents to all stations under their control. The Inspector General always forwarded circulars received from other departments, which were of importance to police either because they were of concern to all public servants or because they touched on matters in which the police were the local agents for other departments. Each station maintained a circular book into which copies of circulars received, and where relevant, copies of circulars sent were pasted or copied.(1/2832). 1 vol.
