This is a docket book of Forms S.S. 44, being orders for the issue of stores. It has been retained as a sample of these records.

Originally printed for the Department of Public Works, this item was used at the Rothbury Colliery during its operation by the State. Most of the order dockets are blank. Only eighteen are used, these consisting of the carbon copy only. All orders in this sample relate to supplies, such as bedding and rope, to be issued to police personnel.
