These volumes are arranged in alphabetical divisions and relate to the issue of camp items such as tents, bedsteads, mattresses, blankets, sheets, pillows, pillow slips and towels.

Information recorded includes: name of recipient, the numbers of the different items issued and the signature of the recipient. A number of entries in the first book have been copied into the second volume with the comment “refer old book for signature”.

Inserted in the front of each alphabetical section of the second volume are small cards each bearing a handwritten inscription stating that the named employee had a "full clearance from Store". They are signed by R Thomas who was the storekeeper.
