This volume is a “Dissection of Supply Issued” book adapted for use by the Rothbury Colliery during its operation by the State. It records the issues and stock of a large range of stores and provisions listed under various categories including: groceries; confectionary; drinks; fruit; biscuits; haberdashery, clothing and boots; stationery; medicine; toilet requisites; and tobacco and cigarettes.

Inserted in the volume are a number of loose sheets, which include a list of credit sales dated 31 December 1929; a stock list dated 1 January 1930; and canteen account reconciliations for 19 January to 14 June 1930 recording canteen cash takings; credit sales, Police and Camp; and cash received for credit sales.
