Brief description
This record was harvested by RDA at 2026-09-03T11:58:31.048857+10:00 from NCI's Data Catalogue where it was last modified at 2025-09-04.Full description
This dataset contains broadband magnetotelluric (MT) recordings from the East Antarctic Plateau, collected for deep Earth and Glacial Isostatic Adjustment (GIA) investigations. Recording durations range from 1 to 4 weeks per site using Phoenix MTU-5C instruments. Level 2 data products are presented.Credit
We express thanks for the support of the Australian Antarctic Division for the logistics of the Denman Terrestrial Campaign (DTC) and the whole DTC team for the massive efforts.Lineage
Time ordered instrument recorded data at full resolution using Phoenix MTU-5C logger. The Bunger Hills and CAD5 station configuration used MTC-150 magnetometers (Sampling frequency: Continuous recording at 30 samples per second (sps), with additional bursts of 20 seconds every 600 seconds at 2400 sps, and 1 second every 600 seconds at 24,000 sps). Other stations were surveyed using MTC-155 magnetometers (Sampling frequency: 2-second bursts at 24,000 sps every 30 seconds, supplemented by continuous recording at 150 sps). Field notes and details about the station configuration are available.Created: 05 09 2025
