Leads the Computational Geophysics & Earth Informatics Group, School of Earth Sciences, University of Tasmania.Research interests: data inference innovations, inverse theory, global seismology, ocean microseisms, plate tectonic evolution, ambient seismic techniques.Current research focus on computational innovations in geophysical data inference is built upon over 20 years of practical experience of observational geophysics and computational data inference. Leader of multiple observational seismology field programmes in remote and challenging environments including Antarctica and outback Australia.
