The 2019 campaign utilised Geoscience Australia broadband MT systems, while the 2020 campaign employed a combination of Geoscience Australia and University of Adelaide broadband MT systems. This collection provides a broadband MT dataset suitable for analysis of crustal electrical resistivity structure and supports integrated geophysical investigation of the Kapunda region. Field acquisition employed ultra-wideband magnetotelluric (MT) instrumentation provided by Geoscience Australia and the University of Adelaide, including Phoenix MTU-8A systems operated by Geoscience Australia and Phoenix MTU-5C systems hosted and operated by the University of Adelaide. University of Adelaide instrumentation was accessed through the AuScope - ANSIR Research Facility for Earth Sounding. The University of Adelaide instrument pool was acquired through AuScope funding provided under the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS). Continued availability of the ANSIR instrumentation pool is supported through ongoing NCRIS investment via AuScope, including maintenance, calibration, refurbishment, and operational management activities. AuScope is supported by the Australian Government’s National Collaborative Research Infrastructure Strategy (NCRIS).
