The practical component allows for application of the didactic component to clinical practice as well as detailing the ergonomic and infection control requirements of undertaking oral health assessments with individuals in residential aged care facility settings. The contents of the videos were developed by a team of clinical experts in the areas of special needs dentistry, geriatric dentistry, health professions education as well as population oral health, oral epidemiology, and allied health.
