Full description This project aims to develop a catchment management decision support model (CMDSM) that enables determination of the impacts of land-use on water resources within catchments and links water quality to treatability at treatment plants. This will be done by generation of multidisciplinary data of representative, and contrasting sub-catchments to elucidate relationships between key catchment features such as geochemistry, topography, soils and land-use with climate, water quality and treatability. The CMDSM will enable improved short and long-term planning of catchment management that secures water resources. Specific developments include concept models and mathematical modelling approaches for prediction of water quality and treatability
