Interviewees are Andak Adlene a/p Panjang, Norlina Bt Normip, Itam Tun a/p Kelub Jasin, Seriah Bt Alang, Long Lela Bt Itam Saleh, and Rosina a/p Bah Uda. Cultural topics covered: personal narratives and memories (childhood memories, village stories, village history, Communist times), traditional weaving using palm leaves, traditional tools, cooking cassava, rubber tree uses (food and fishing). The recordings were made under a Project funded by the Fundamental Research Grant (FRGS/2/2014/SSI09/UTP/02/1) 2014-2017 from Malaysian Ministry of Higher Education. The Project leaders were Dr Sumathi Renganathan (Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS) and Orang Asli community leader/head man Tok Batin Jasmani Mat Jalak, with Dr Inge Kral (The Australian National University).. All items 006 were recorded at Kampung Tumboh Hangat, Perak, Malaysia on April 10 2017.
