The correspondence covers a wide range of subjects, many relating to Whitlam Labor Government policies and legislation (e.g. Corporations and Securities Industry Bill 1975), as well as submissions and reports on major issues, company and other publications, news cuttings etc. It also includes congratulatory telegrams and letters relating to Fraser's election as Leader of the Opposition. This series of paper-based records is the first of two series of general correspondence of J M (Malcolm) Fraser, maintained while he was Leader of the Opposition (March-November 1975).
