Full description

The Board met approximately monthly and was the major policy making body of the Egg Marketing Board. Decisions included matters concerning the legislation and constitution of the Board, litigation, policy relating to production and marketing of eggs and egg products and the management of the agency. Reports were regularly received from the Managing Director, and the senior executive of the Board including Planing and Administration’ Operations Director, Finance Director, and Marketing and Sales Director. The Board also considered external factors including the economic environment, relations with other bodies and industrial matters.
