This volume is part 1 of the calculations and office specifications for the design of the Sydney Harbour Bridge recommended by the Public Works Committee.

The volume is signed by Louis M. Roberts, Designing Engineer and John J.C. Bradfield, Chief Engineer. Each page of the volume is initialled and dated by Louis M. Roberts.

The number 3F/175 appears on the front endpapers of this volume. Its significance is unknown. It was possibly a location symbol when the record was active or in storage.
