The Australian Submarine Canyons service identifies the location of 753 submarine canyons surrounding mainland Australia and its external territories, with associated metrics.

Lineage

Statement: The service contains the national submarine canyon dataset obtained from the NERP Marine Biodiversity Hub research. This is the second iteration of this web service which was formerly known as National_Submarine_Canyons_of_Australia. The web service was revised in 2016 as part of an infrastructure platform upgrade.
