The Australian Mineral and Mining Processing Plants database contains the location and descriptive attributes of facilities that process mined materials into usable products. Data was compiled by Geoscience Australia and its predecessor organisations. Location, plant type, processing types, processed commodities, and processing output are provided for each plant, where known.

The Australian Mineral and Mining Processing Plants database is a subset of tables within the larger OZMIN Database. Database development for processing plant data was completed as part of the Critical Minerals Research and Development Hub project 'Unlocking the Critical Mineral By-Product Potential of Existing Deposits', and the database will be used for ongoing storage of information compiled for future projects.

Data is available via the Geoscience Australia Portal (https://portal.ga.gov.au/), within the 'Mines, Mineral Occurrences, Mineral Deposits, Mineral Resources and Mineral Potential' layer category.
