The Australian Mineral and Mining Processing Plants dataset contains the location and descriptive attributes of facilities that process mined materials into usable products, as of April 2026. Data was compiled by Geoscience Australia and its predecessor organisations. Location, plant type, processing types, processed commodities, and processing output are provided for each plant, where known.

The Australian Mineral and Mining Processing Plants dataset is a subset of the larger OZMIN Database.

Data is available via the Geoscience Australia Portal (https://portal.ga.gov.au/), within the 'Mines, Mineral Occurrences, Mineral Deposits, Mineral Resources and Mineral Potential' layer category.
