The total collection occupies 383 linear cm of shelf space (or its equivalent). The Guide is the output of a research database. It was published online by the Australian Science and Technology Heritage Centre c2000. An updated version was published online by the eScholarship Research Centre in September 2009. Work on the collection was begun by the Australian Science Archives Project in the 1990s. The records are held by the State Library of Victoria (MS 13662). The Australasian Society for Immunology Inc.
