X-ray photoelectron spectrum of an iridium foil.
Full description
Ir 4d and 4p(3/2) spectra, and Ir NNN X-ray-induced Auger emission spectrum of an iridium foil sputter-cleaned with argon ions. Spectra acquired using a monochromated Al Kα X-ray source (hν = 1486.7 eV) operating at 150 W, and recorded at 0.025 eV per step, a dwell time of 250 ms (per step for each of multiple sweeps), and a pass energy of 20 eV. Pressure 3E-09 Torr. Ir 4d and 4p(3/2) spectra were acquired as single-sweep acquisitions with 30 s sputtering in between sweeps (for a total 7 sweeps each) to prevent the appearance of O and C 1s signals, respectively (c.f., 4d and 4p region spectra referenced in 'Related Links' below).
