Full description Camera trap data package from the Wildlife Observatory of Australia's Wildlife Camera Database. Dataset ID: QLD_SE_QLD_Fire_Maitz_2021-2022_WildObsID_0043. This project was part of WWF's Eyes on Recovery initiative, focusing on the impacts of the 2019-2020 wildfires in south-east Queensland. Specifically, camera traps were deployed at Lamington National Park and Mount Barney to collect information on species presence/absence and relative activities at the two parks. Cameras were placed along different hiking trails (~15 m off trail) within the parks, with these trails covering different vegetation types, including rainforest, wet and dry eucalypt forests. Cameras were spaced a minimum of 500 m apart along the trails. Cameras were left out for approximately a year, and serviced every 4-6 months on average.
