Full description

During the FRV Southern Surveyor cruise SS 05/95 in June 1995, measurements were taken of nitrate and nitrite, phosphorus, silicate, primary productivity, chlorophyll and other pigments, 15N uptake, temperature, and salinity. Two transects of the Gulf of Carpentaria were carried out, from Weipa to Groote Eylandt, then from Groote Eylandt back to Weipa. Sampling was carried out at six stations.
