The evaluation also concluded that a volume spanning the years 1972 - 1979 and registered as VPRS 7057 should have been included in this series. The series contains the minute books which document the meetings of the Board of Examiners for Mine Managers, commonly known as the 'Coal Mine Managers' Board' between 1911 to 1972. Minutes are handwritten and relate to the standards and conditions concerning the granting of mining managers certificates. The meetings also documented matters relating to examinations for Mining Managers and to certificates granted. Volumes created after 1979 have not been transferred.
