Full description

This series comprised volumes listing officers who were charged with offences relating to their service at the prison. This series related to officers who supervised the Female Prison at Pentridge, and later, Fairlea Female Prison. Each entry recorded the officer's name and rank, what the charge was, and the decision made and by whom the decision was made. The decision included a record of the penalty given, if the officer was reprimanded instead of formally punished and, if the charge was dropped, the reasons why.
