VPRS 16802 Index to the Committee of Management Minutes

This series consists of the controlling indexes that aid in the retrieval of subject information from VPRS 16796/P1 Minute Books of the Committee of Management.

Unit 1 indexes the minutes for the period 1890 to 1910 (Units 15 to 32 in VPRS 16796/P1), it's arranged alphabetically by subject. Entries have a two number reference to the meeting in which the subject was discussed - the second number refers to the volume of minutes, the first number refers to the page number within the volume.

Units 2 to 4 indexes the minutes for the period 1954 to 1972 (Units 37 to 46 in VPRS 16796/P1), they are arranged alphabetically by subject. Entries have a corresponding page number(s) to locate the particular subject matter of interest. The volumes of minutes during this period have the page number range on the spine.

There is a gap in the first index from 1910 to 1953. Additional research is needed to determine the reason for the gap. Furthermore, these indexes do not cover the minutes from 1870 - 1890.

Prior to transfer to Public Record Office Victoria, the records in this series were maintained as part of the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) Archives. They were part of RCH accession number 2009/001
