This series consists of files relating to various projects maintained by the Chief General Manager, Transport Operations Division of the State Transport Authority. The Division was responsible for the provision of safe and reliable public transport and related services which met agreed requirements of the Freight and Passenger Services Divisions to pre-determined standards of quality, cost and efficiency. Responsibilities included the provision of engineering, scientific and technical support services, and the planning and implementation of improvements and alterations to vehicles, infrastructure, plant and physical facilities operated and maintained by the Division.
