Cadastral Area Boundary is a line layer belonging to VLAT and consists of data representing Victoria's land parcels and properties and is used extensively in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) by the public and private sectors.

This dataset s a raw superset of VMPROP_CAD_AREA_BDY. It shows the current and retired state of each feature instance. It supports feature versioning (UFI_RETIRED) and enables feature edting chaining (UFI_OLD).

This layer should be used in conjuction with the other layers and aspatial tables that make up VLAT.
