Full description

The UTS Mars study group runs an instance of NASA's ISIS (Integrated Software for Imagers and Spectrometers) tool, which is used by the planetary science community for image processing, analysis, and display of 2- and 3-dimensional (multispectral and hyperspectral) data with the specialized planetary cartographic functionality required for a variety of planetary science applications. This (computationally intensive) service creates new cleaned and corrected images from existing NASA images and makes these new images available to other researchers. These are grouped into collections on the basis of the different parameters that are used in processing the raw file.
