Using Food to Make Art: Assessing Mood, Affect, and Hunger Change

Research Project

Full description This project studies the use of food as a resource for creating art and the resulting changes to the art-makers' mood, affect, and hunger. Using food to make art is not a new concept but research on the process is negligible. This project provides research that exposure therapists and art therapists can consider when treatment planning for client presentations related to food relationships, such as over-eating. This research may offer footing for future larger-scale research projects that continue to explore food cues.
