This dataset contains metagenomics data from stool samples collected from 97 adult (18-65) participants from Brisbane, Queensland, Australia collected between October 2020-November 2021. These participants were recruited across four groups: non-psychiatric controls, people with schizophrenia responding to first-line atypical antipsychotics, people with treatment-resistant schizophrenia responding to clozapine, and people with treatment-resistant schizophrenia not responding to clozapine. The data was used in Vasileva et al. 2024 (publshed in JAMA Psychiatry). This dataset contains the raw sequencing files (FASTQ), taxonomic and functional counts provided by Microba Inc, and metadata.
