Brief description
A temporary emissions licence (TEL) temporarily allows the release of a contaminant into the environment, in response to an unforeseen event such as a flood or bushfire.The [public register](https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/pollution/licences-permits/public-register) includes TELs associated with environmental authorities or transitional environmental programs, as required under section 540(1) of the Environmental Protection Act 1994.
