Brief description
Operators who hold Environmental Authority (EA) for resource activities may be required to contribute surety to the Financial Provisioning Scheme that started on 1 April 2019.ERC is the estimated cost of preventing/minimising environmental harm and rehabilitating the land on which a resource activity is carried out.
The [public register](https://www.qld.gov.au/environment/pollution/licences-permits/public-register) contains records of approved ERC notices that have been decided since 1 April 2019.
