Supplementary Information: Interactive dashboard of multi-national in-stream pesticide mixture toxicity

SI 14 is an interactive Site/Year dashboard accompanying the manuscript Improvement in mixture risk assessment: A multi-national application of the Pesticide Risk Metric (Neelamraju et al.) The dashboard supports the FAIR principles to enable transparent reuse by environmental managers and researchers. It visualizes the results of the Pesticide Risk Metric (PRM) application to GEMStat water quality monitoring data from 706 monitoring sites in eight countries used in the study. Results are presented as the percent affected fraction (PAF) of the ecosystem that results from exposure to mixtures of pesticides found in each water sample. The data are presented at the site, river basin, country, and year level, highlighting spatial and temporal patterns in pesticide mixture toxicity. SI 14 includes a suite of slicer-enabled tables and plots that allow users to filter and interrogate the data by site, year, or country. Tabs include: (1) annual average PAF values for all 37 pesticides; (2) pesticide-level contributions to PAF per site/year; (3) a graphical display of pesticide contributions (PAI proportions); (4) group-level contributions (PSII herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, other herbicides); and (5) the raw calculated PAF data, which underpins all visualizations. Users should note that this SI uses only annual average PAF values; for full sample-level results across all 41,676 water samples in the filtered GEMStat dataset, refer to SI 11: R output_PAF all_11022025 (main manuscript)
