Full description This project constitutes Luke Hearne's PhD work at the University of Queensland. The aim of this project was to investigate the neural underpinnings of human reasoning and intelligence. A series of functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) experiments were conducted to characterize relevant networks in the brain, and relate these networks to reasoning task performance, individual differences in intelligence, and the breakdown of reasoning ability amongst individuals with developmental anomalies in brain wiring.
