Full description

Animations and figures of the first five principal components from a statistical foot shape-function model. Animations are for shape variations while bearing full bodyweight (fBW) and deformation variations between minimal weight and full bodyweight bearing (mBW-fBW). Figures are for the ankle, midtarsal (midtar), metatarsophalangeal (mtp), subtalar (subtal) and tarsometatarsal (tarmet) joints during level (L), uphill (U) and downhill (D) walking (W) and running (R).
