This series of paper-based records consists of speech notes, addresses, articles and related papers of J M (Malcolm) Fraser dating from early March 1972, when he was Minister for Education and Science in the McMahon Liberal Coalition Government, to February 1983 (shortly before the end of his own Government). It includes the period when he was an opposition spokesman (1973-1975) and, more particularly, Leader of the Opposition (March-November 1975) during the Whitlam Labor Government.
