Dataset generated as part of the project 'Assessing the potential of engineered microbial communities to reduce nitrous oxide (N2O) emissions from agricultural soils (2023-2025)'. Data collect location: Queensland The dataset contains files describing the key soil physicochemical characteristic of 20 soil samples from agricultural soils across Queensland, and the diversity maps generated from PACBIO metagenomic sequencies. The dataset also contains spreadsheets with a parametrised library of microbial isolates recovered from soil. the library includes the isolate ID, soil where the isolate was recovered, nitrogen removal efficiencies, and the microbial diversity of the isolate obtained using PACBIO sequencing.Issued: 2025
