Access conditions covering the collections vary. While many are on open access and may be viewed on request, permission to use other collections must first be sought from donors. A few collections are covered by specific embargo periods. Researchers are advised to contact the Archives before visiting to allow time for access formalities to be completed and for material stored off-site to be brought to the Reading Room.

This series of paper-based records consists of folders of research material accumulated and used by two senior advisers to J M (Malcolm) Fraser in the period he was Leader of the Opposition (March-November 1975) and in his first year as Prime Minister (November 1975-December 1976). The senior advisers at the time were Dr David Kemp and, later, Petro Georgiou. Many of the files include earlier papers, however, particularly from the early 1970s.
