Full description Staff at The University of Queensland created a database containing observed phase observations or collected felt reports or historical references covering the period of 1866-2007. These earthquake phase observations were printed on a weekly or monthly basis and mailed to global agencies to determine the epicentre of earthquakes; and were investigated and edited as a routine by observers and researchers at UQ Seismological Stations (permanently operating from 1935 to 2002 and then volunteer-manned to 2007).
