Brief description

This collection contains netCDF data produced by the SCHSIM-WWMIII hydrological and wave coupled model v5.9 around Vanuatu as part of the VanKIRAP project.

Files are written monthly for the 41 years from 1980 to 2020, containing hourly data on an unstructured grid (adhering to UGRID1.0 convention) that ranges from 10km resolution offshore down to 50m at the coast. Each file contains variables describing sea surface elevation, significant wave height, mean & peak wave period, peak wave direction, peak directional spreading, and u- and v- components of depth-averaged current.

The model was forced with:
- TPXO v9.2 tides
