This compilation of rock property data consist of 442 samples from the Mount Isa Region. The data consists of 420 density measurements and 442 magnetic susceptibility measurements. The dataset was compiled from the following sources:

• Approximately 200 samples collected and measured by the Economic Geology Research Unit, School of Earth and Environmental Sciences, James Cook University and the Queensland Department of Mines and Energy, Geological Survey of Queensland (Blenkinsop, et al. in prep). The samples, which included 11 from cores at Century mine and 10 from cores at Osborne mine, were collected along the deep seismic lines (06GA-M1, 06GA-M2, 06GA-M3 and 06GA-M6) in the Mt Isa-Cloncurry area during the period July-August 2007.
• Approximately 200 samples consisting of density and magnetic susceptibility measurements from Hone et al. (1987).
• Approximately 25 samples consisting of density measurements and magnetic susceptibility measurements from Sampath and Ogilvy (1974).
• Approximately 50 samples consisting of density and magnetic susceptibility measurements from Mutton and Almond (1979).
