Wind speed was recorded using a 3 cup anemometer (resolution 0.1 kph, threshold 1 kph), wind direction was measured using a Hall effect sensor (resolution 2°, accuracy 2°). Global incoming radiation was measured with a pyranometer using cosine correction (accuracy 3%). When sensor failure occurred gap filling was carried out where possible using data from the local Ozflux station (from 2012) or the co-located CSIRO automatic rain gauge – this has been identified in the dataset. Data was stored at hourly intervals and summed or averaged to provide daily values. Brief description

Data on weather conditions at the Robson Creek Rainforest site collected between 2010 - 2014. Weather station data includes daily records of air temperature, wind speed, solar radiation, relative humidity and rainfall.

Lineage

Station height: 2.0m; surface type: mostly covered by grass.
