David Rivett was a member of the CSIR (Council for Scientific and Industrial Research) Executive 1926-1949 becoming Chief Executive Officer in 1927 and then Chairman in 1946. Earlier he held the post of Professor of Chemistry at the University of Melbourne 1924-1927.Data time period: 04 12 1885 to 04 1961
