This report provides a summary of mental, emotional, social and physical health amongst Australian school students in 2024. Data was collected using the Resilience Survey (Resilient Youth Australia Pty Ltd) in over eight hundred schools and 149,114 students across all states and territories. The Resilience Survey is a student voice instrument, meaning that data is collected directly from students in a manner that ensures their privacy and confidentiality. The survey is anonymous and non-identified, and responses are only reported in the aggregate. In this way, the Resilience Survey aims to elicit honest answers from students, empowering them to share responsibility for developing and enhancing their own resilience, mental health, and wellbeing.
