The University of Adelaide is one of Australia’s Group of Eight, research-intensive universities and is consistently ranked among the top 1% of universities in the world. Established in 1874, the University of Adelaide is Australia’s third oldest university and an iconic Adelaide institution, contributing significantly to the health, wealth and wellbeing of the State and a vital part of the cultural, social and intellectual life of the community.

The University has a strong reputation for research and teaching excellence and producing graduates that make an impact on the world. The University has produced over 100 Rhodes Scholars, including Australia’s first Indigenous winner with five Nobel Laureates among its alumni community.
